Planning Applications and Building Regularisation

Put the property information in context

Obra Lisboa includes planning applications and regularisation within its architectural services, with support in organising drawings and accompanying information. The work to be proposed depends on the property, the intended intervention and the existing documents.

For an initial enquiry, give the location and explain whether you are planning work or addressing an existing built situation. Share available plans, drawings and earlier correspondence that help explain the background.

Define the documentary work involved

It helps to separate information already available from material that still needs preparation or clarification. The proposal should identify the architectural documents covered, the information to be supplied by the client and the intended support with following up the application.

If the property differs from the drawings you have, identify those differences in the first discussion. This helps frame the technical work without anticipating the outcome of a review by the relevant authorities.

Can I enquire about work that has already been carried out?

Yes. Provide the information describing the current situation and any available history so that the architectural and documentary support that may be proposed can be discussed.

Does the proposal cover every design document and all follow-up?

The scope needs to be set out explicitly. Confirm which drawings, disciplines and stages of support are covered and what may need further definition. A service proposal does not promise approval.
